Raekwon and Ghostface Killah Are Next To Take Verzuz Stage

Verzuz has brought different artists together over the past year to battle it out and go hit for hit. Rap music legends and Wu-Tang Clan members Raekwon and Ghostface Killah are the latest rappers set to go face to face on the Verzuz stage. Many people believe that not only is this an even match, but this is a long time coming. A legendary battle in the making.

The two hip legends are going to be facing off Saturday (March 20), in a Veruzuz battle at 8p.m. EST took to social media share the exciting news. Raekwon shared a video clip on Instagram page with the caption, "I ain't coming to play wit ya !! @realghostfacekillah @verzuztv 3/20". Legend and fellow rapper Busta Rhymes left this comment under the video. “👑👑👑👑👑👑🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯”. Verzuz Official Instagram page left this comment "WE'RE READY 🔥🔥🔥🔥 @triller". One follower replied to their comment. “

Radio personality and co-host of "The Breakfast Club" Charlamagne Tha God posted a photo about tonight's battle on his Instagram page with the following caption. "Tonight Tho!!!!!! Iconic hip hop magazine, “The Source”, also shared about this battle between the two New York legends. They posted a serious of photos which consisted of their albums with caption, “Takin’ it to the streets of NYC tonight with the Ghostface V Raekwon Verzuz battle tonight. Another EPIC one tonight! A whole lot of hits between them together, solo and with the whole Wu fam. Y’all ready?👐🏿”.

The two New York rap legends have known each other way before Wu-Tang. During an interview with The Breakfast Club back in 2020, Raekwon shared that he and Ghostface attended middle school together in Staten Island. Shortly after that he became friends with future Wu-Tang members Method Man, Remedy, and Inspectah Deck at New Dorp High School. A few years later, when RZA was ready to form a group, they were able to pull in seven members through their connections. This battle is definitely going to be so huge and iconic for hip hop!!
