SZA Drops New Video For Single With Ty Dolla Sign

SZA first burst on to the scene back in 2017 when she released her classic debut album, “CTRL”. The album took the music world by storm. After a three year hiatus, singer, songwriter and rapper is back with new music.

The 29 year old singer, new song titled, “Hit Different”, features singer/songwriter Ty Dolla Sign. Fans have been anxiously waiting for the songstress to drop some new music as well as a video for the new track. They were beyond excited when she took to social media to share a snippet from the video.

She posted a clip from her video on her Instagram page with a very simple caption, “Different”. The clip shows her and her dancers performing a dope routine. Not to mention the choreography was incredible as well. Many members of the music and entertainment industry are in love with the track and video. Rapper/actress/dancer Lil Mama left this comment. “So talented and cool”. Singer Kehlani also commented under the post. “The girl the woman the one”. Finally, singer Janelle Monae left this comment. “My have weeeeee missed YOU”.

You literally can do it all. Sky’s the limit”. The Grammy nominated singer shot and directed her own video. Fans were definitely amazed and here for her directing more videos in the future. The neo-soul influenced song is produced by super dope producers, The Neptunes which consist of Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo. The track definitely has a real cool and incredible vibe. Finally, SZA recently sat down “Apple Music” to talk about it was like working the iconic producers and making the song. “I can’t really wrap my head around the experience and I think more so I’m fangirling off of having a track produced by probably the most formative producers and artists for me when I was growing up”.

She continued on, “I cried just explaining to Pharrell what he meant to me growing up here in the burbs - being one of five black people in my radius. It just was really crazy because you have your idols in your mind and I avoid mine all the time in case it don’t go well. And I just was really astonished. Chad was just perfect and Pharrell was just perfect. It was too perfect”. The choreography in the video is incredible and the clothing she is wearing was definitely inspired by Aaliyah.
